This woman approached me with a painting that she wanted to use as an inspiration for a photograph of herself for her husband.  I loved the idea…and  I loved this shot, in particular.  It isn’t the same pose as the painting, but this one struck me a little more than the others.  I’m not sure why…it just did.  We can’t always explain why something works…but for me, this one does…
