When I opened up my humble home studio doors to Heidi Lynne Photography 6 years ago, I never thought I’d want to be in any other location.  After all, working out of your home is every business owner’s dream, right?  I don’t have to drive to it so it is convenient…it is a home office tax deduction…it easy for me to work when my kids are here…etc.  But for the past couple of years, I’ve been wanting…NEEDING more.  More space, more independence, more visibility, more energy.  I haven’t been actively looking for spaces, but I knew that when the perfect space came up, I’d consider it.

And so, it finally happened.  The space that I have salivated over for many years became vacant.  My patience paid off, and I feel like I won the lottery!  This is the *perfect* space for me and my business…and I have to agree with the owner in that it has such great karma.  I will be sharing the space with a newly formed artist’s co-op – – Surface.  This co-op will consist of several artists sharing space for work, display and meeting.  This is truly my dream come true and I am so excited to unveil it to the world! I signed the lease on Thursday, got the keys on Friday and took official occupancy on Saturday.  My mind is crazily spinning with how I will have my space designed, and I hope to be completely moved in within two weeks…and stay tuned for my grand opening, tentatively slated for mid-late July.
