…than to run a 50 mile relay with 6 other great women. This past Saturday I ran in the Tussey Mountainback 50 Mile Ultramarathon and Relay with 6 other women from State College. This is no ordinary 50 miles…it is up and down the beautiful mountains of Central PA…50 miles, out and back…on tough mountain roads. The race is divided into 12 legs and we alternated throughout the day. I will admit, while I ran two legs, they were pretty easy legs. Our team did great with an overall time of 7 hours and 20 minutes, but the best part of it was the fun, the laughter, the scenery and the camaraderie of all 600+ runners on the mountain. Can’t wait for next year…though I’m wondering if my team will ask me to run one (or two!?!?) of the dreaded uphill legs!?!?!?
