My Favorite Thing #2:
Blame it on the weather, my hand washing obsession, my genes…but I have dry skin.  And it is always a struggle to find a really good moisturizer!  One of the best that I’ve found is Aveda’s hand cream.  It does a great job and smells good to boot!  The foot cream is amazing as well, so today’s ‘favorite thing’ is a full size tube of both the hand and foot relief creams.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love to bake.  I come from a long line of bakers and my family is a bunch of self proclaimed ‘pie snobs’.  My favorite pie to bake is blueberry, but that is unfortunately limited to the early summer months, otherwise it would cost $20 just for the blueberries!  Another favorite, though a distant second behind the blueberry, is apple pie.   It is a seemingly easy recipe – – apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice – – but it is a very easy thing to mess up.  A lot of people have made terrible apple pies and in fact, there is a restaurant in PA that claims to have America’s Worst Apple Pie.  Name the restaurant!
